Four years ago, two members of my intern class, Karen and Victoria, and I visited San Antonio for a day of sightseeing and I wrote about it. If you read my blog post about road trips, you know that I am pretty familiar with visiting San Antonio. This past week, I went down with my boyfriend for a pit stop to Laredo to renew his SENTRI status–the purpose of the road trip–and while we spent two nights in San Antonio, we didn’t really find anything new to point out about the city. When I visited with Karen and Victoria, we did all the touristy things that really define the city, thus, I figured I would edit this existing post with some 2020 updates for anyone who has never visited. šŸ™‚

AboutĀ two weeks agoĀ I hadĀ my college graduation.

I could say so many things about what graduation meant for me. When you push the stress of graduation day to the side, you start to unravel the sentimental value of it. I am constantly thinking about all of the things I wish I did during college or at least did differently. Obviously, had none of my experiences happened in the way that they did, I wouldnā€™t know what I know now. Still, I wish I was more adventurous, more social, more invested in my own participation of my college experience rather than having others define it for me. On the same note, I feel more liberated, having been a graduate for almost sixĀ months now, because I can recognize these things and grow from them. Iā€™m not here to thank USC for anything, but rather the people Iā€™ve metā€”friends, co-workers and educators alikeā€”for teaching me so many unforgettable lessons in this thing we call life. To a screen near youā€”

I know that I have disappeared for a few weeks. It was definitely one of those times where I was deciding to delete everything and go off the grid, or to post things just for consistency. Clearly I wasnā€™t posting, but either way, Iā€™m back on the blog.
For the past couple of months, Iā€™ve been tirelessly looking for ways to refresh my blog. Due to a lack of motivation, I hit a writerā€™s block. I recently came up with some ideas for the summer that Iā€™m excited to share with yā€™all. Iā€™m not going to get into all of the details now, but here are some updates I will share:

1. Older posts (excluding study abroad ones) will disappear or change because I donā€™t have the storage.
2. A new layout is on the way.
3. I concluded my spring internship with Southwest Airlines.
4. My college graduation is this Friday!
